GMDA Initiates Bio-CNG Plant at Dhanwapur STP

Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA)

GMDA intends to establish a bio-CNG facility at the Dhanwapur Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). This facility will be capable of producing 5,000-10,000 cubic meters of biogas, which can then be supplied to gas distribution companies within the city. In addition to the 100 MLD STP, the Authority will install 200 MLD main pumping stations on the premises to ensure the effective operation of the STP.
