IIPE and NTPC Collaborate on India’s First Desalination-Based Hydrogen Project
The Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE)
The Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE) in Visakhapatnam, in partnership with NTPC Limited, is spearheading India’s inaugural desalination-based hydrogen project. A plant with a 1 tonne per day (TPD) capacity is being installed at an estimated cost of ?35 crore at NTPC Simhadri. NTPC, committed to advancing green hydrogen initiatives, has sanctioned this project for IIPE.
