Establishment of a Greenfield steel plant is coming up at Alda village, Tilda, Raipur District, C.G. The project includes DRI Kilns for Sponge Iron (4,29,000 TPA), Induction Furnace with LRF & CCM for Hot Billets / MS Billets / Ingots (5,28,000 TPA), Rolling mills for TMT bars / Structural Steel / Wire rod / Strip (85% Hot charging with Hot Billets and 15% through RHF using Producer Gasifier as fuel – 4,95,000 TPA), Gasifier for Reheating Furnace (3 x 1500 NM3/Hr), Ferro Alloy Unit (2 x 9 MVA – FeSi: 14,000 TPA, FeMn: 40,000 TPA, SiMn: 28,000 TPA, FeCr: 30,000 TPA, Pig Iron: 48,000 TPA), Briquetting Plant (200 Kg/Hr), WHRB based Power Plant (1 x 18 MW & 2 x 10 MW), FBC based Power Plant (1 x 18 MW), and a Brick Manufacturing unit (26,000 Bricks/Day).
