IREDA, the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency, is charting new territories with plans to establish a dedicated retail division catering to rooftop solar, electric vehicles (EVs), and other consumer segments. Envisioning a comprehensive approach, IREDA intends to create a wholly-owned subsidiary, subject to the approval of the Union Government, to effectively address the burgeoning demand in the Retail segments, including projects encompassing Rooftop Solar, PM-KUSUM, EVs, and other Business-to-Consumer (B2C) segments.
