Dalmia Bharat Targets 110-130 MTPA Capacity by 2031 with Major Expansions

Dalmia Bharat plans to expand its capacity to 75 million tonnes by FY27 and 110-130 million tonnes by 2031, through greenfield, brownfield, and inorganic growth initiatives. Recently, the company commissioned a 1 MTPA brownfield expansion in Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu, with an investment of Rs 240 crore, and is adding another 1 MTPA capacity in Kadapa to strengthen its presence in the South. Additionally, Dalmia Bharat will commission a 2.4 MTPA cement capacity in Assam and a 0.5 MTPA unit in Bihar by FY25. The company is also acquiring cement assets from Jaiprakash Associates, adding 9.4 MTPA capacity by the end of this financial year.
