The Karnataka State Government has relocated its ambitious project to construct India’s tallest sky deck from Bengaluru’s city centre to the outskirts, following objections from the Defence Department. Originally planned as a 250-metre-tall structure to showcase Bengaluru’s skyline, the project now aims to capitalize on the city’s elevation of 920 metres above sea level in its design. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) is underway, utilizing advanced technological tools for precise planning and execution of the sky deck, which is poised to become a prominent landmark for the region.
