Power Grid Corporation has acquired the Rajasthan IV E Power Transmission project, marking a significant expansion of its transmission infrastructure. The project entails constructing a new 765 kV substation at Rishabhdeo in Rajasthan, which will serve as a pivotal hub for high-voltage power distribution. Additionally, it includes the installation of 765 kV double-circuit transmission lines to enhance the efficiency of power transfer and bay extension works at existing substations in both Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, aimed at upgrading and integrating the regional grid. This development is expected to bolster grid stability and support the increasing demand for electricity in these key areas.
