Neogen Chemicals Expands Lithium Electrolyte Production with Rs.1,500 Crore Investment

Neogen Chemicals Limited is significantly expanding its capacity in lithium electrolyte salts and additives. The company is developing a new 400 MTPA capacity, with 200 MTPA already commissioned and trial production underway for the remaining 200 MTPA. At its Dahej facility, Neogen is producing 2,000 MT of electrolytes, with 200 MT commissioned. Production is set to rise to 4,500 MT in FY25 and further expand to 33,000 MT by FY26, supported by a total CAPEX of Rs.1,500 crore.
