Adani Cement adopts RotoDynamic Heater to decarbonise Andhra Pradesh plant

Cement Sector News India

Adani Cement will deploy the world’s first commercial RotoDynamic Heater at its Boyareddypalli Integrated Cement Plant in Andhra Pradesh. The technology electrifies the high-temperature calcination process, enabling clean industrial heat and significantly higher substitution of alternative fuels. The system will reduce around 60,000 tonnes of CO? annually, with potential for a tenfold increase. Powered entirely by Adani’s renewable energy, the installation supports net-zero commitments, enhances process efficiency, and advances high-temperature electrification in cement manufacturing.
