Adani Ports Secures 30-Year Concession for 5.7 Million Tonne Multipurpose Terminal

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ)

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd has signed a 30-year concession agreement with Deendayal Port Authority to develop and operate a 5.7 million tonne capacity multipurpose terminal. The terminal, set to handle clean cargo including containers, was awarded based on the highest royalty bid of ?200 per ton. The project, planned under a design, build, finance, operate, and transfer model, is expected to be commissioned by 2026-27.
