Andhra Pradesh plans 23,000-acre industrial park
Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC)
Andhra Pradesh has announced plans to establish a 23,000-acre industrial park in Sri Sathya Sai district near the Bengaluru highway, 75 km from Devanahalli airport. Divided into 16 sector-specific zones, the park will cover aerospace, space, electronics, drones, and IT. Land acquisition of 14,000 acres is underway, with Rs. 800 crore earmarked for farmer compensation and Rs. 2,000 crore loans under approval. The master plan, led by Lee and Associates, will be completed by December.
