Ariyanayagipuram Water Scheme to Improve Supply in Tirunelveli
Tirunelveli City Municipal Corporation
The Ariyanayagipuram Drinking Water Scheme, drawing from the Thamirabarani River, will add 50 million litres per day to Tirunelveli’s supply network. Designed to provide 33,000 household connections, the project has already delivered over 24,000. Implemented by the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board in partnership with Tirunelveli Corporation, the scheme supports the city’s transition towards a 24/7 water supply and metered billing system.
