AVG Logistics wins 6-year Parcel Cargo Express Train contract

AVG Logistics Limited has secured a six-year long-term contract from Indian Railways for leasing a Parcel Cargo Express Train (PCET). The train connects Agartala (Tripura) and Guwahati (Assam) to Delhi and Ludhiana (Punjab), completing four trips per month, totaling 313 trips during the contract. Initial carrying capacity is 364 tonnes per trip for six months, increasing to 484 tonnes later. The train covers 2,768 km in 90 hours, providing fast connectivity.
