BDA Takes Charge of ?27,000-Crore Peripheral Ring Road Project

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has announced its decision to directly oversee the construction of the ?27,000 crore Peripheral Ring Road (PRR) project. Spanning 73 kilometers and 100 meters wide, this access-controlled expressway aims to alleviate traffic congestion in Bengaluru’s bustling Silicon City. The eight-lane PRR will connect Tumakuru Road and Hosur Road, traversing key junctions including Hesaraghatta Road, Doddaballapura Road, Old Ballari Road, Hennur Road, Old Madras Road, Hoskote Road, and Sarjapur. To facilitate the project, the BDA has already secured 2,596 acres of land.
