BEML has signed an MoU with Italy’s Tesmec to introduce advanced surface mining machinery in India. The equipment enables eco-friendly mining by eliminating the need for drilling and blasting. This move expands BEML’s mining portfolio, which already includes excavators and bulldozers, while aligning with its entry into underground mining. The partnership brings cutting-edge mining technology to India, aiming to enhance productivity and sustainability in open-cast mining operations.
