BHEL Awarded EPC Contracts for Two 660 MW Supercritical Units
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL)
BHEL has received notifications of award from Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Ltd (MPPGCL) to execute two EPC contracts covering 1×660 MW Amarkantak Unit-6 and 1×660 MW Satpura Unit-12 supercritical thermal power projects. The awarded scope comprises supply of major balance-of-plant equipment, erection, commissioning, civil works, auxiliary systems and performance testing. Contracts were awarded via open tender on 29 September 2025 with completion timelines set at 57 months from award.
