Bhopal Metro Rail Project Commissions 6.22-km Priority Corridor with Eight Stations Under Phase I

The priority corridor of the Bhopal Metro Rail Project has been commissioned, covering 6.22 km with eight stations. Phase I of the project includes two corridors: the 14.99 km Orange Line from Karond to AIIMS Bhopal and the 12.88 km Blue Line from Bhadbhada to Ratnagiri. The project was initially approved with a cost estimate of Rs 6,941 crore. Construction activities progressed between 2018 and 2025.
