The Road Construction Department, Bihar, has accelerated work on the greenfield bypass road between Lakhisarai and Patna districts. The 10-km project will run from BNM College Ghat in Barhiya to Maranchi via multiple villages. Phase-I, covering 4.7 km, is planned with a completion period of 12 months.
