Birla Corporation commissions Rs. 300 crore cement expansion in UP

Birla Corporation Limited has commissioned a third production line at its Kundanganj grinding unit with an investment of Rs. 300 crore. The expansion adds 1.4 million tonnes capacity, increasing total company capacity to 21.4 MTPA. The project also includes development of a 5 MW solar plant to support renewable energy consumption at the facility.
