The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has laid the foundation stone for a 174-bed cancer hospital in Bandra West. This independent 13-storey facility, aims to alleviate the burden on existing hospitals like Tata Memorial by providing essential cancer treatment to many patients in the city. The construction is expected to be completed within 36 months.
