BNT Marine Crafts gets EOU approval under MEPZ SEZ

The Madras Export Processing Zone (MEPZ) SEZs 8th Unit Approval Committee has approved BNT Marine Crafts (India) to convert its Puducherry Domestic Tariff Area unit into a 100 percent export-oriented unit. The Rs 2.25 crore investment unit will manufacture semi-submarines, tourist and commercial vessels, and premium vessels for international markets, generating Rs 32 crore in foreign exchange and creating 77 jobs over five years. The approval supports marine manufacturing exports and regional employment.
