The expansion project aims to increase sponge iron manufacturing capacity from 1,00,000 MT per annum to 1,20,000 MT per annum by installing an additional 1×100 TPD kiln, utilizing iron ore, limestone, and coal as raw materials. Additionally, captive power generation will be enhanced from 10 MW (6 MW WHRB and 4 MW AFBC) to 12 MW (8 MW WHRB and 4 MW AFBC) at Anantpur, Andhra Pradesh.
