Centre to Launch PPP Hospitals in Odisha with ?354 Crore Investment

The Centre will establish the first Public Private Partnership (PPP) speciality hospitals in four underserved districts of OdishaAngul, Barbil, Bhadrak, and Jharsuguda. Under the viability gap funding (VGF) model, private players will invest and operate these hospitals, which will be completed by December 2026. The ?354 crore project, including ?230.5 crore for capital expenditure, will see funding from the Centre (?116.72 crore) and Odisha (?113.78 crore). The Centre will also allocate ?124 crore for operational expenses.
