CERC Grants Interim Licence for MP Transmission Project

Central Electricity Regulatory Commission has granted an interim transmission licence to Mandsaur I RE Transmission, a subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India, for an interstate transmission project in Madhya Pradesh. The ?319 crore project involves augmentation of transformation capacity at Mandsaur substation and will be commissioned in phases between March 2027 and March 2028. The project was awarded under TBCB with an annual transmission charge of ?44.70 crore.
