The trial run of revamped STPs has commenced, with purity levels shared. A ?90 crore plan to expand tertiary treated water lines awaits central approval, and a ?30 crore project connecting villages to canal water supply is in the works. The Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, receiving a ?83.8 crore bid for TT water supply system strengthening, is part of the ?180 crore sanctioned under AMRUT 2.0 for various projects.
