Construction of South-East Bypass for Azamgarh

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)

NHAI plans to construct a 4-lane South-East Bypass for Azamgarh City, connecting NH-28 to Purvanchal Expressway, spanning 16 km under EPC mode. Land requirement: 119.3 Ha, with 11.9 Ha available and 107 Ha to be acquired (3A 100%). Forest clearance is in progress (REC & Stage-I pending). Railway clearance is also in progress. Other clearances are not required.
