Delhi Jal Board Approves STP Projects for Yamuna Cleaning

Delhi Jal Board approves Rs. 917.33 crore for augmentation and upgradation of sewage treatment plants to improve Yamuna River cleaning. Key works include expanding Yamuna Vihar Phase-III STP from 25 MGD to 40 MGD, constructing a new 15 MGD Phase-IV unit at Rs. 403 crore, and upgrading Keshopur STP from 12 MGD to 18 MGD at Rs. 133.33 crore. Another Rs. 381 crore strengthens five STPs in south and south-west Delhi, ensuring long-term O&M, modern facilities, and regulatory compliance.
