Development of Betul – Khandwa – Deshgaon Highway (Package I)

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)

NHAI plans to develop Package I of the Betul – Khandwa – Deshgaon corridor in Madhya Pradesh under HAM mode, covering 125 km. Land requirement includes 517.9 Ha, with 78 Ha available and 439.9 Ha to be acquired, with progress at 3A – 99%, 3D – 70%, 3G – 29%, 3H – 0%. Forest clearance is progressing with proposal submission, site visit, and REC approval completed; Stage-I clearance is pending. Wildlife clearance is progressing with feasibility and WIA reports submitted; NBWL presentation is pending. Environmental and Railway clearances are not required, and Waterway clearance is also not required.
