Enerica Infra Secures 187.5 MW BESS Project in Uttar Pradesh

Enerica Infra (EnerGrid) has won a 187.5?MW/750?MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Uttar Pradesh through SJVN’s February 2025 auction. To be developed under the BOO model, the project is awarded at a tariff of Rs. 3,59,999 per MW per month. It qualifies for viability gap funding of up to Rs. 2.7 million/MWh or 30% of the capital cost, whichever is lower. Enerica Infra will handle financing, construction, and long-term operations of the storage facility.
