Epsilon Advanced Materials commits INR 5,000 crore for Indian cathode plant

Epsilon Advanced Materials (EAM) announces plans to establish a Cathode plant in India. Active consideration is given to states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana for the facility’s location. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Epsilon Carbon, EAM is also committing USD 1.1 Billion towards investments in Karnataka. The Bellary manufacturing facility is slated to produce 100,000 tons per annum of synthetic graphite anode material by 2030.
