Satyam Iron and Steel Company has proposed an expansion of its existing steel plant by increasing the MS Billet production capacity from 1,35,000 TPA to 1,62,000 TPA with the addition of a 25-tonne induction furnace, and rolling/strip mill capacity from 72,000 TPA to 84,000 TPA at Mangalpur Industrial Estate, Raniganj, Paschim Bardhaman district, West Bengal.
