Babanaraoji Shinde Sugar & Allied Industries has sought environmental clearance for expansion of its sugar factory capacity from 5,000 TCD to 12,000 TCD, expansion of the co-generation power plant from 25 MW to 60 MW, and expansion of the molasses-based distillery from 60 KLPD to 200 KLPD using C/B heavy molasses and sugarcane syrup at Turkpimpari, Taluka Barshi, District Solapur, Maharashtra.
