Onkar Sakhar Karkhana is seeking environmental clearance for the expansion of their sugar unit in Ambulga (Bk), Taluka Nilanga, District Latur, Maharashtra from 2,500 TCD (tons per day) to 4,800 TCD. Additionally, the expansion includes the installation of an 18 MW cogeneration unit and a 150 KLPD multifeed distillery plant utilizing C-Molasses, B-Heavy Molasses, Syrup, and Grain as raw materials. The proposal is accepted and referred to EAC.
