The environmental clearance is sought for the proposed expansion of the existing DRI Plant (2×100 TPD Kiln) by installing additional 1×600 TPD Kiln, along with Steel Melting Shop (Induction Furnace)- 5×20 Ton, Strip Mill- 1,50,000 TPA, Tube Mill-1,20,000 TPA, Galvanised Plant- 60,000 TPA, Profile Mill- 24,000 TPA, Structure Mill- 1,50,000 TPA, Ferro Alloys- (4×9 MVA Sub-merged Arc Furnace), Producer Gas Plant- 2×10,000 Nm3/hr, Rolling Mill (TMT & Wire Rod)- 3,60,000 TPA and 25 MW Captive Power Plant (16 MW WHRB & 9 MW AFBC), located at Ikra village, Paschim Bardhaman District.
