GAIL to Invest ?60,000 Crore in Madhya Pradesh Ethane Cracker Project

GAIL (India) Ltd. plans to invest ?60,000 crore in a large ethane cracker project in Madhya Pradesh, aiming to produce 1500 kilotons per annum. The MP Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. will provide 800 hectares of land, and a 70-hectare township will also be developed. The groundbreaking ceremony is slated for February 2025, with commercial production beginning in the financial year 2030-31.
