GHCL, a prominent player in India’s chemical industry, has secured environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change for its Soda Ash Greenfield Project in Kutch, Gujarat. The approval, granted on December 12, 2024, clears the way for the construction of a 1.1 MMTPA Soda Ash plant. This project, slated for completion within six years, will require an investment of Rs 6,500 crore.
