Gorakhpur Link Expressway Inaugurated in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh has inaugurated the 91.35-km Gorakhpur Link Expressway, connecting NH-27 in Gorakhpur to the Purvanchal Expressway at Salarpur in Azamgarh. The four-lane access-controlled expressway spans Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, and Azamgarh districts, with provisions for six-lane expansion. It features advanced traffic management systems and enhances connectivity to key towns. Constructed by APCO Infratech and Dilip Buildcon, the project involved land from 172 villages and marks the state’s seventh operational expressway.
