Greenfield Airport Development at Kuppam

Andhra Pradesh Airports Development Corporation Limited

The Government authority has proposed development of a greenfield airport at Kuppam, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh. Phase-I development is planned for Aerodrome Reference Code (ARC) 3C operations with a runway of 2,000 m × 45 m suitable for Airbus A-320 Neo aircraft. Phase-II includes runway extension to 2,600 m × 45 m for ARC 4C operations, and the ultimate development phase proposes further expansion to accommodate wide-body aircraft up to ARC 4E.
