Greenfield Deepwater Port Project at Murbe

JSW Infrastructure has proposed development of an all-weather, greenfield, multi-cargo deepwater port at Murbe, Palghar District, Maharashtra. The port is designed to handle about 134.07 MTPA of solid and liquid cargo including bulk, break bulk, container, automobile, project and liquid cargo. The facility will comprise 16 berths including bulk, multipurpose, container, liquid cargo and port craft berths, and will be protected by two breakwaters of 10 km (south) and 1.3 km (offshore north).
