Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE)

GRSE has been awarded two contracts valued at ?226.18 crore for designing, building, operating, and maintaining hybrid electric ferries under the WBIWTLSD Project for the West Bengal Transport Department. The project involves the construction of 13 ferries, including 100-passenger non-AC hybrid electric ferries and 200-passenger twin-deck hybrid electric ferries with AC on the main deck, to be completed within 30 months.
