Gujarat Govt Approves Rs 145 Crore for Four-Lane Saraswati River Bridge Construction

The Gujarat government has approved Rs 145 crore for constructing a four-lane bridge over the Saraswati River in Sidhpur taluka, Patan district, along the Mehsana-Unjha-Sidhpur-Palanpur State Highway. This new bridge, designed to replace the existing two-lane structure built in 1959, aims to enhance regional connectivity and accommodate increasing traffic. The bridge will be located to the right of the old one and aligned with plans for a six-lane road network, boosting the overall capacity of the road infrastructure.
