The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) is gearing up for a major overhaul of the 10-kilometer stretch from Iffco Chowk to the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR), slated for completion within the next year. The ambitious project aims to enhance traffic flow by eliminating traffic signals and implementing elevated structures along the route.

To kickstart this transformative endeavor, the GMDA has enlisted the expertise of a reputable consultant firm tasked with preparing a comprehensive project report. The blueprint for the upgraded road draws inspiration from the success of the Golf Course Road, renowned as the city’s sole signal-free corridor. This iconic thoroughfare, linking Cyber Hub to Sector 56, serves as a beacon of efficient urban mobility, ensuring seamless movement for vehicles.
