GUVNL Issues 500/1000 MWh BESS Tender for Gujarat

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL)

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam plans to setup 500/1000 MWh (Phase-VI) standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Gujarat. The project, aimed at setting up 1000 MWh (500 MW x 2 hrs) capacity, will operate under the build-own-operate (BOO) model. GUVNL has issued a tender in this regard. Bidders can submit proposals until February 24, 2025.
