The new international terminal at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati is set to become operational by November 2025. The terminal is poised to enhance air connectivity in the Northeast and strengthen regional ties. Additionally, the state plans to develop a tourism and entertainment hub near the airport, featuring a stadium, convention centre, theme park, hotels, and wedding venues.
