Himadri Announces Entry into Battery Materials

Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd is establishing India’s first commercial plant for Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Cathode Active Material in Odisha, with a total planned capacity of 200,000 MTPA to be developed in phases over the next five to six years at an estimated investment of ?4,800 crore. The first phase of this project, involving a capacity of 40,000 MTPA and an investment of ?1,125 crore, is currently on schedule for a commercial launch by Q3 FY27.
