Hyundai Begins Production at Refurbished Talegaon Plant in Maharashtra

Hyundai Motor India has commenced production at its refurbished Talegaon manufacturing facility in Pune district from 1 October 2025. The plant, located in the MIDC Industrial Area, has an annual installed capacity of 1,70,000 passenger vehicles. Originally built by General Motors in 2008, the facility was acquired by Hyundai in 2023 and upgraded with modern production systems. Along with Hyundai’s Sriperumbudur plant in Tamil Nadu, the new facility increases the company’s total domestic capacity to over 8,70,000 vehicles annually.
