India Gets First 3nm Chip Design Centres

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated Renesas Electronics India’s chip design centres in Noida and Bengaluru, marking India’s entry into 3nm chip design. The move aligns with the national semiconductor strategy, covering design to ATMP and ecosystem development. The government also launched a semiconductor learning kit for over 270 institutions under the India Semiconductor Mission.
