Indichip to Invest ?14,000 Cr in Andhra Pradesh SiC Chip Fab

Indichip Semiconductors Limited

Indichip Semiconductors, in partnership with Japan’s Yitoa Micro Technology, has signed an agreement with the Andhra Pradesh government to establish a semiconductor manufacturing facility at the Orvakal mega industrial hub in Kurnool. The facility will produce Silicon Carbide (SiC) chips, starting at 10,000 wafers per month and scaling to 50,000 within two to three years, bolstering India’s semiconductor industry.
