Jaigaon Set to Get 50-Bed Hospital with ?15 Crore Investment

Jaigaon, a key town on the India-Bhutan border, is set to receive a 50-bed hospital with a ?15 crore investment. The Alipurduar district health administration has proposed upgrading the existing primary health center into a fully equipped hospital to address the growing healthcare needs of the region. The proposal has been submitted to the state Health department for approval, with the transformation planned through the Public Works Department (PWD).
