Jindal Steel Plans Raigarh Structural Steel Expansion

Jindal Steel has announced plans to expand structural steel production capacity at its Raigarh facility in Chhattisgarh from 1.2 MTPA to 2.4 MTPA by mid-2028. The expansion includes setting up a new steel mill and upgrading existing processing facilities. The company currently produces parallel-flange sections ranging from 100 mm to 900 mm in depth. Post-expansion, the facility is planned to manufacture sections up to 1,100 mm in depth with sectional weights of up to 1,500 kg per metre.
